The room is the reason the date works

Klein Phönix is an indoor standing club in Eyüp, not a field and not a seated theatre. Capacity is a club, which means it fills, and late means the back or the door.

Start times disagree across vendors. Spotify's concert listing has put 20:00 on the date. At least one reseller has printed 21:30. Trust the time on the official ticket you hold, not the aggregator.

Club bills in this city often open earlier than the artist. A 20:00 listing is not automatically the first song. Eat before you go in. Club food, if it exists, is not the reason you came.

Eyüp is not next to Taksim

Budget a real journey: tram or metro plus a walk, or a taxi that will take longer than the map says. Doors, bag check and a late finish are club-standard. There is no grass and no weather problem. There is a capacity problem if you arrive late.

Sunday in Eyüp still fills when the name is this size. Treat it like a Saturday night for the purpose of getting a position, and like a Sunday night for the purpose of getting home.

Getting home, which is a Sunday problem

1 November 2026 is a Sunday. Istanbul's metro runs through the night on Friday and Saturday nights on several major lines. It does not on a Sunday. The network closes around midnight as usual.

That is the constraint. A club set that runs late in Eyüp is night bus or taxi territory.

Plan for that before you go:

  • Know the last metro before you go in. If you can be out in time for a single connection, you will make it. If you cannot, do not discover that at the door.
  • Night buses cost very little with an İstanbulkart, once you are back toward Taksim.
  • BiTaksi or Uber, booked before the encore if you can, rather than hailing outside a club that has just emptied.

Who this is for

Go if you want the catalogue in a room small enough to hear it, and you can get back from Eyüp on a Sunday night.

Think twice if you wanted a park, a marina, or a seated hall, or if you came only for the Bieber collaboration. This will still be an Omah Lay set. The rest of the catalogue is quieter and better, and that is the point of a room this size.
