Boris Brejcha brings the Reflections Tour to Küçükçiftlik Park on Saturday 26 September 2026, his first Istanbul date in roughly two years, and the billing is a three-hour set rather than the ninety minutes a festival slot would give him. Ann Clue and Frieder & Jacob are on before him.

For a certain kind of Istanbul crowd this is the show of the autumn. It is also an open-air field in late September with a published running order that starts at five in the afternoon, which makes it a very different logistical proposition from a club night. Here is what the day actually looks like.

To be clear about what this page is: this is not our event. Saucy runs its own nights in Istanbul, and this is not one of them. We are reporting somebody else's show because it is worth knowing about, and because the venue and transport detail around it is the kind of thing we happen to know. There is nothing for sale here.

The running order, and why it matters

The published schedule has doors at 17:00, Frieder & Jacob at 19:00, Ann Clue at 20:00 and Boris Brejcha from 21:00. With a three-hour headline set that puts the end of the night somewhere around midnight rather than at four in the morning.

That shape catches people out in both directions.

Arriving at 21:00 for the headliner is the obvious move and usually the wrong one. Ann Clue is not a warm-up act you are doing yourself a favour by skipping, and more practically, a large open-air venue that has been filling since five has a very different entry queue at nine than at seven. If you turn up when the headliner starts you will hear the first half hour of it from the gate.

Treating it like a club night is the other mistake. This is not a show that begins at midnight. Eat beforehand, because four hours of standing in a field on an empty stomach is its own kind of decision, and the food inside a venue like this is event-priced and queued.

If you want the full three hours with a decent position, arrive between 18:30 and 19:30.

Küçükçiftlik Park in late September

The venue is a large open-air park space in Şişli, and it takes most of the big international acts that are not playing a stadium. It is general admission and standing, on grass and hard standing rather than a raked floor.

On capacity, we are going to decline to give you a number. Published figures for Küçükçiftlik Park vary substantially depending on the source and the configuration, and some of them are describing the site area in square metres rather than a headcount. We would rather say that than pick the impressive one. What matters practically is that it holds several thousand people and that it feels like a field, because it is one.

Three things about being in that room:

Sound falls off toward the back. This is true of most open-air GA venues and it is very true here. The difference between the middle of the field and the rear fence is significant, and for an artist whose whole appeal is production detail, that matters more than it would at a rock show. Being further forward is worth more than being comfortable.

Late September is not summer. Istanbul days in late September are still warm and the evenings are genuinely cool once the sun is down, and you will be standing outdoors from early evening to midnight. A layer you are willing to carry for four hours is the right call. People consistently underestimate this at the September and October shows.

The exit is the venue's weak point. A large standing crowd leaves at once, onto a limited number of streets, at the same moment several thousand people all open the same taxi app. More on that below, because it is the part worth planning.

Our concerts guide has the wider comparison of Istanbul's music venues and what each is actually for.

Getting home, and the good news about the date

26 September 2026 is a Saturday. For this show that is the single most useful fact available.

Istanbul's metro closes around midnight on weeknights, which would be a real problem for a set finishing at midnight. But on the nights connecting Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday, several major lines keep running through the night at roughly 30-minute intervals. This show falls on one of them. A midnight finish on a Saturday means the metro is a live option rather than a missed one.

The practical sequence:

  1. Walk away from the venue before you open a taxi app. Ten minutes on foot toward Şişli or Mecidiyeköy puts you outside the surge zone that forms directly outside the gates. This is worth real money and almost nobody does it.
  2. The M2 is your friend. Küçükçiftlik Park sits near the Şişli-Mecidiyeköy end of the M2 corridor, and on a Saturday night the line is running through the night.
  3. Night buses run from Taksim to most districts and cost very little with an İstanbulkart, if the metro does not go where you are going.
  4. If you are heading to the Asian side, check the Marmaray and the M4 rather than assuming a taxi. A cross-Bosphorus cab at 00:30 on a Saturday is the most expensive way to end this night.

Our metro hours guide has the first and last trains line by line, and which lines run the weekend night service.

What the night costs beyond the ticket

The ticket is one line. Realistically:

  • Food before, because you are out from six until midnight. Şişli and Mecidiyeköy have plenty at normal prices, unlike inside the gates.
  • Drinks inside run at event pricing, as at every open-air venue in the city.
  • Cloakroom, if you bring the layer you should bring, and cloakrooms here tend to be cash.
  • Getting home, which on a Saturday with the night metro running can be almost nothing, or can be a surge-priced cross-city taxi if you do not plan it.

The nightclubs guide has general Istanbul price bands, and the budget guide is the student version.

Who this is for

Go if you want the long-form version of this artist rather than a festival slot, and if standing in a field for four hours with serious production in front of you sounds like the point rather than the price.

Think twice if you want to sit down, if you need to be somewhere early on Sunday, or if you were expecting a club-hours night. This is an early-evening-to-midnight show in the open air.

As above, this is somebody else's show. If you want to know what Saucy is actually running, that is on Instagram.

Verify before you travel

We checked Istanbul's autumn 2026 listings carefully and the aggregator data was poor: of three major shows we verified, one had been cancelled while ticket sites still listed it as available, and one was actually taking place in Athens rather than Istanbul.

This date is among the better-corroborated ones, appearing on Resident Advisor and on Turkish ticketing platforms including the one named as the exclusive seller, with a published running order and support billing. It is still worth confirming against the venue's own channels before you book travel around it, and set times in particular move. Our concerts guide explains how to check a date properly.

Last checked: 18 August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

When and where is Boris Brejcha playing in Istanbul?

Saturday 26 September 2026 at Küçükçiftlik Park in Şişli, on the Reflections Tour, billed as a three-hour set with Ann Clue and Frieder & Jacob supporting. Confirm the date and set times against the venue's own channels before booking travel.

What time should I arrive?

The published running order has doors at 17:00, Frieder & Jacob at 19:00, Ann Clue at 20:00 and Boris Brejcha from 21:00. Arriving between 18:30 and 19:30 gets you a decent position without queueing behind a crowd that has been building since five.

What is Küçükçiftlik Park like for a concert?

A large open-air, general admission park venue in Şişli, standing only. Sound drops off noticeably toward the back, so further forward is worth more than more comfortable. Published capacity figures vary a lot between sources, so we do not quote one.

How do I get home afterwards?

26 September 2026 is a Saturday, so several metro lines run through the night at roughly 30-minute intervals, which covers a set finishing around midnight. Walk ten minutes clear of the venue before opening a taxi app, and if you are crossing to the Asian side check the Marmaray and M4 rather than defaulting to a cab.
