Black Coffee plays Ataköy Marina on Friday 25 September 2026. Biletix lists the start at 16:00. TemaCC is the promoter on the public listings. This is Afro House on the water: a long, warm set, not a festival drop every four minutes, and not a seated night.
Subconsciously is the album behind the Grammy citation. The live version is groove and length. A marina in late September is a better room for that than a dark box, as long as you dress for wind as well as for the photo.
To be clear about what this page is: this is not our event. Saucy runs its own nights in Istanbul, and this is not one of them. We are reporting somebody else's show because the marina is a different logistical problem from Harbiye or Küçükçiftlik, and that is the kind of thing we happen to know. There is nothing for sale here.
A 16:00 start is not the headliner
On a marina bill, mid-afternoon is doors and early support. Arriving at 16:00 gets you a position. Arriving at 21:00 gets you the headliner and not the rail.
Treat it like a long outdoor afternoon rather than a club night that begins at midnight. Eat beforehand. The food inside a waterfront arena is event-priced and queued. Several marina dance listings are 18 and over. Read the ticket.
Ataköy Marina, which is not a park
The venue is an open-air arena on the Bakırköy waterfront. It is standing, close to the water, and more exposed than Küçükçiftlik. Wind is part of the room.
Three things about being in it:
Late September on the water can be warm at six and sharp at eleven. A windproof layer you can dance in matters more here than it does in Şişli.
Sound and weather both move. There is no useful indoor fallback if the wind comes up. That is the trade for a marina view.
The exit is a coast road. When the arena empties, the road along the water backs up, and late taxis are scarce. Marmaray to Ataköy is the usual way in. It is also the constraint on the way out, because Marmaray does not run all night.

Getting home on a Friday
25 September 2026 is a Friday. Several major metro lines run through the night on Friday nights, at roughly 30-minute intervals. That helps if you can get back onto the M2 corridor. It does not help if you are still standing on the coast road waiting for a car.
The practical sequence:
- Know the last Marmaray before you go in. The waterfront is not next to Taksim.
- Walk toward the station rather than opening a taxi app at the gate. The coast road is the surge zone.
- If you miss the last train, night buses and BiTaksi are the fallback. Budget more time than the map suggests.

Who this is for
Go if you want a long Afro House set outdoors, and you are willing to treat 16:00 as the start of the day rather than a suggestion.
Think twice if you wanted a seated night, or if you cannot get back from Bakırköy after the last Marmaray without a plan.

Verify before you travel
We checked Istanbul's autumn 2026 listings carefully and the aggregator data was poor: of three major shows we verified, one had been cancelled while ticket sites still listed it as available, and one was actually taking place in Athens rather than Istanbul.
