The Weeknd, Abel Tesfaye, spent the last few years closing out one of the biggest runs in pop: the After Hours Til Dawn tour, one of the highest-grossing tours of all time, a Super Bowl halftime show in 2021, and a catalogue, Blinding Lights, Starboy, The Hills, Save Your Tears, that has made him one of the most streamed artists on the planet. He has said the After Hours Til Dawn cycle closes out the Weeknd persona he has performed under for over a decade, with new music planned under his own name, Abel Tesfaye, going forward.

Istanbul has never had a Weeknd date. Not on the last stadium tour, not on the one before it.

Why that keeps coming up

Turkish fans have been asking for a Weeknd show for years, the same way they ask about every major global act that skips Turkey on its routing. A stadium-scale production, an international artist, a local promoter and an arena or stadium that can hold the show all have to line up on the same tour cycle, and that alignment has not happened yet for a Weeknd date here.

Saucy has been working to change that. Getting a global artist at this level to add an Istanbul date is not something one company decides alone: it takes the artist's team seeing enough reason to route through Turkey in the first place.

What actually moves that decision

Booking agencies and promoters look at demonstrated demand when they choose where a tour goes. A real, countable number of people who say they would come, backed by a name and an email rather than a comment on a post, is the kind of evidence that gets taken seriously.

That is what this page is for. We are asking for at least 50,000 sign-ups from fans in Turkey who would actually go, to make the case that an Istanbul date is worth adding to a future routing. There is no ticket for sale here and no event booked. If a date is confirmed, it will be announced properly, with a real venue and a real on-sale, not through a sign-up form.
